The Moth Collection
Music
Theme
The opening and ending themes to The Moth Collection are excerpts from Fantaisie pour quintette à vent by Vincent Lauzon (that's me, not another dude named that). The opening and ending themes to the bonus sidetrip episodes are excerpted from the same piece. The score can be found here. What you actually hear on the show is a crap electronic version exported through Sibelius. You have a wind quintet and you want to record the piece (and let me use the appropriate excerpts in the show)? Give me a shout. I would love to hear you play this. I’ve other pieces too. I’m just saying. You like sacred music? I got you covered.
Note: all musical excerpts in the show are rights-free recordings of rights-free pieces. I'm super thankful to the universe that these versions exist, but let's be honest, they're not necessarily the best performances extant. Do google these pieces for yourselves if you like them, and don't hesitate to buy them.

4. By the Water Hole
There is no music in this episode. It's like I don't care anymore.
Bonus Sidetrip 2. Black God's Kiss
Oh man I make up for it in this one. The music is not diegetic here though, so it hardly feels like playing the game.

Gaspard de la nuit, 3. Scarbo, by Ravel.
La cathédrale engloutie, by Debussy (again!).
8. On the Moon
Sweet Silver Teardrop of Selene, by Vincent Lauzon. This awful lo-fi electro-pop country ballad was written and performed by me, when I realised that it would be a bit of a job to find an existing country song that would be both rights-free and the kind of thing you'd hear in a bar on the Moon. It was easier just to do it myself. The result is unfit for human consumption as a song, of course, but as a piece of aural furniture it more than does the job. I apologise in advance if you decide to subject yourself to it again.
9. In the Margins
There is no music in this episode.

The Planets (movements Mars, Venus, Mercury, Saturn), by Holst.
